Woodstock Farm Market
Our own small-town market needed a website as warm as the market itself. We gave it one, and a real draw for shoppers and vendors alike.

Our market deserved better than a ’90s website.
Woodstock Farm Market is the kind of place small towns gather around: local produce, crafts, canned goods and the people who make them. We’re regulars ourselves, with a personal connection to the market.
Its website hadn’t kept up; it looked like it was built in the ’80s or ’90s. Working closely with members of the board, we set out to give the market a site that feels like a visit, and one they could keep up to date themselves.
The Journey
A new front door for the market.
- 01
Listened to the board
We worked closely with members of the market’s board, who supplied its mission, the Night Market details and the wording they wanted. Photos and vendor lists came in from around the market, and its history carried over from the old site: a community hub, decades in the making.
- 02
Mixed modern with historic
A modern, easy interface with the market’s historic feel, so the site feels like coming home to a homemade meal with people you love.
- 03
Put the vendors front and centre
Every vendor gets a listing with its product categories and, where it has one, a link to its own website or social page, so shoppers can see who sells what before they visit.
- 04
Handed the board the keys
The site launched in spring 2025. Board members have their own access and keep content like the vendor list up to date themselves.
The tricky bits
Modern, without losing the market’s soul.
The easy move was a slick template. But a farmer’s market isn’t a startup, and the people who love it would feel the difference. The craft was in the balance: a clean, current layout that works on any phone, carrying the warmth and history of a market that has been part of town life for decades.
The Build
A closer look at how it works.
-
▸ For shoppers
The vendor directory
Vendors sorted by category, from produce, meat and eggs to crafts, specialty foods and soap, with links to their own sites or social pages.
-
▸ For vendors
Apply online
Vendors apply right on the site, with product photos and a question about volunteering, and Night Market vendors pick the weeks they’ll attend and whether they need power.
-
▸ For the town
The Night Market
A page of its own for the summer evening markets, where local food, talent and makers light up the streets.
The Outcome
Where it landed.
The market now has a website that matches the place: warm, local, easy to use, and a real draw for shoppers and vendors. We designed its banner and business cards too, and we think of the whole project every time we shop there.
